Presenters:

Captain Michael Quade - has been fishing the Chesapeake Bay and offshore for more than 30 years.

Dr. Joel Vedelli - has 36 years teaching experience and has earned fish citations for 21 different species of saltwater fish.  Most recently he is the 2006 VA Charter Boat Association state champion for the largest flounder.

Captain Hank Norton - Captain Norton is a long time fly and shallow water fishing specialist.  He has been featured in Saltwater Sportsman magazine and will share his knowledge and tips on fishing in the Deltaville area.

Examples of Workshop Topics

  • You will be shown and learn 3 to 6 knots applicable to fishing for the species covered in the workshops.  Examples: Bimini twist, blood, Heightmiller, Palomar and others.

  • We/you will rig both natural and artificial baits for the species covered.  Examples: Rigging live eels for Rockfish as well as Cobia and others,

  • We will cover chumming or chunking techniques and how to rig for each species from Spadefish to Drum and Cobia.

Each workshop is $75.00, both workshops $125.00
